Sodium Sulfite Anhydrous 96% has the smell of sulfur dioxide. Sodium Sulfite Anhydrous can lose some part of sulfur dioxide in the air, at the same time it is oxidated to the sulfate. Sodium Sulfite Anhydrous 97% can be dissolved about in the water, while can be dissolved slightly in the ethanol, and the water solution shows acidity. Normally, it includes many kinds of the different proportion of Sodium metabisulfite.

[Uses]:

1.Sodium Sulfite Anhydrous is used as deoxidizer and bleaching agent in the scouring of cotton fabrics;
2.Sodium Sulfite Anhydrous is used as developer in photosensitive industry;
3.Sodium Sulfite Anhydrous is used as reductant in the production of m-phenylenediamine, 2,5 dichloropyrazolone, anthraquinone-1-sulfonate, 1-aminoanthraquinone and Aminosalicylic acid, sodium salt ;
4.Sodium Sulfite Anhydrous is used as removing agent of lignin, stabilizer of artificial fiber,
5. Sodium Sulfite Anhydrous is used in light dependent resistors, the treatment of plating sewage and drink water.
