Description: Transparent colorless or ropy clear liquid with mild salty taste;
odorless or with slight special odor. It can mix with water, ethanol, glycerin fusion totally.
Application:
Potassium Lactate is widely used in flavoring agent; emulsifier; thinner; PH regulator; flavor
intensifier; synergist, etc.
Potassium Lactate is a clear syrupy liquid derived from lactic acid, a commonly used
biological acid that is naturally present in animal tissue.Potassium lactate is a liquid product that
has an E number of “E326". Potassium Lactate blends are commonly used in meat and poultry products to
extend shelf life and increase food safety. They have a broad antimicrobial action and are effective
at inhibiting most spoilage and pathogenic bacteria. The compound potassium lactate (the potassium
salt of lactic acid) is created when lactic acid is neutralized. It's regarded as a natural acid
formed through bacteria within foods that have fermented. This process generally commences via a
source of sugar. Potassium lactate is also manufactured by various food companies for the benefit and
preservation of their products.
Potassium Lactate food grade solution is one kind of transparent, colorless or
practically colorless, slight thick transparent clear liquid; mild salty taste; odorless or slight
odor; concentration of solution is about 50%~70%.
Potassium lactate food grade is used for
preservation and to reduce sodium in food products, especially meat & poultry products.
seasoning; emulsifier; thinner; PH regulator ; flavoring agent; synergist of antioxidation; buffer.
Potassium Lactate inhibits microbial growth and oxidative changes. The use of Potassium Lactate offers
control against many pathogens found in refrigerated food products. It exhibits antimicrobial
properties against Clostridium botulinum, Staphylococcus aureus and Listeria monocytogenes. Potassium
lactate can act as an antioxidant. It makes food safe to eat by inhibiting the growth of bacteria.
Potassium lactate is also known to be healthy for babies and children.
Because of its hygroscopisity, Potassium Lactate also has a positive effect on a products water
holding capacity, which may result in less purge, a higher cook yield and an improved texture for
cooked product.
